With eons of my experience in the field of education, I fathomed that rote learning and by-hearting of lessons no longer serve as the means of academic performance; simultaneously, the scores in exams and ranks achieved thereof have become obsolete tools to gauge the student’s prospects. The modern education proffers plethora of academic options to them matching to their interests and limitations; cutting across various learning areas. And it stresses upon holistic education encompassing practical student centric learning and corresponding pedagogical approach. Our NEP 2020 enshrines the vision for imparting 21st skills among students with Indian roots.
